Tool Maintenance and Test Technician- Mt. Pleasant, PA

A Snapshot of Your Day

Inventory tool kits, assemble items to complete tool orders, operationally test tools and perform lead tech duties in operation of the tool crib.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Check and replenish inventory of established tool kits, drawing items from the tool crib or ordering thru the buyer as required.

  • Collect tooling kits and items as listed on a tool order and prepare them for shipment.

  • Maintain and direct activities of the tool crib, including organization, inventory control system, issues, and returns.

  • Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical inspection and testing, cleaning and minor repair of turbine generator field service tooling and equipment.

  • Develop and document inspection and test procedures for field service tooling and equipment.

  • Perform other related duties, including any associated with lower labor grade positions, as directed.

  • Perform receipt, stocking, inventory, disbursement and SAP monitoring/update support functions for turbine and generator service materials in controlled warehouse storage.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools; basic computer skills

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

  • Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
