Siemens Energy Fast Logistics Center - Material Handler in Orlando, Florida

How You will Make an Impact

  • Ensure Safety and Zero Harm processes and procedures are followed.

  • Responsibilities include performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock.

  • Packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse/assembly/repair of pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, and mechanical tooling.

  • This position is often required to move between other departments to help cover gaps and ensure the timely delivery of products to customers.

  • Understanding of operational constraints and identify resolutions that would resolve process problems.

  • Analyze and help identify solutions to run the operation while maintaining target throughput within the department.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities for work areas as required .

  • Contribute to ensuring customer needs are met with 100% on time delivery.

What You Bring

  • 3 plus years’ experience in a productive warehouse or logistics center environment.

  • SAP EWM knowledge and experience.

  • Positive, collaborative, can do attitude.

  • Proven working experience in a warehouse

  • Proficiency in inventory software, SAP EWM

  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs at most)

  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
